I recently made a comment on a post on Krazy Island Family Facebook group about deli paper. A generous KIF member, thank you Paula Dean, offered to send me some to try before I decided to purchase or not.
Well, yesterday I got my first "happy mail" that I have seen people vlog about. Wow, deli paper to use and a couple of sheets she had made along with beautiful flower embellishments too.

So, now the fun began...what to send back? I recently revamped a canvas as a graduation gift and in creating my painted lady's dresses (two because I couldn't decide what color lol) I had an extra. Perfect, I created a new lady and dressed her up in a luscious, orange suit. I gathered up Gelli® prints, a napkin, tissue, stickers and canvas butterfly stickers. Made a handmade card and decorated the plain manila envelope.
Sending happy mail was such fun, like planning special hand made gifts at Christmas just hoping they enjoy them. My Mother was a very talented semstress and instilled in me the beauty in an artistic gift. I have cherished that philosophy and created almost all my gifts throughout the years. I hope they have been a surprise and cherished by my family and friends throughout the years. Here is a few photos showing Elaini's canvas, which can't communicate how proud we are of her accomplishments. I know she will excell in achieving her future dreams.
Take a few minutes to create something to gift...happy mail is contagious, but good for all. *permission to use the Gelli® or Gelli Arts® trademark, which is owned by Gelli Arts® LLC
